How typing works
Type the answer, then press Enter or tap Check. Small typos, missing accents, capitals and number formats still count.
A forgiven typo shows the right spelling, fixed letters underlined. Another number, a missing item or a different name is Not quite.
In a French, Spanish or Italian deck, leave out the article (la, el, il) and it shows as Close: it counts as Knew it, but the card won't be spaced out further.
Stuck? Hint gives a clue, More help the first letter: both free, but the card then won't be spaced out. Learn more tells you more about the answer.
Think the check got it wrong? Tap I was right and it counts as Knew it; Undo changes it back until you go on. Otherwise Not quite, or a shown answer, counts as Didn't and comes back a few cards later, until you know it.
On a keyboard, Enter checks, then Enter again goes on. Holding Enter never skips a card.
Answers that can't be typed fairly are flip cards. Type has you type every card, new ones too; Auto, cards you know well (at most 5 a Zap). Choose your study style in Settings.
